I know this problem maybe talked to death on this forum but i cant find anything on it.

I'm having a problem with my clutch or transmission. There's a noise coming from it when i rest my foot on the clutch peddle while i'm driving and while with the e-brake on with foot rest on it. the noise is an whistle noise but when i engage it the noise goes away or if i dont rest my foot on it while i drive it's okay and while parked with e-brake on no foot on paddle it's okay please let me know what this is??? the clutch is an ACT 2100. sorry if I dont make any sense it's because i just got off an 16 hour shift thanks

so its the throw out bearing huh I kind of thought so too and just wanted to make sure. now if it's just the TOB do I have to replace my clutch too?? because the clutch is only 2 years old.. thanks alot guys.

If your going through the work I always just replace it but that ones your call.. clutches cost some good money and if your not set on that then just leave it, considering the clutch doesn't have to come off the replace the tob.

One more question.. Will this TOB problem also causes my clutch to slip too??

No it shouldn't make your clutch slip too. If your clutch is slipping I'd replace the clutch along with the throw out bearing.

I don't think it is.. but I was just wondering. I think it is my turbo but not sure.. the reason I ask is because when I go and punch on the gas it has this stutter to it like it'll jerk and speed up and jerk the boost will also drop from 15psi to 8 or 10psi. This is the stock turbo.

Any ideas on what I'm talking about?? any help will be great.

Have you used the search at all? Do a boost leak test. Dont ask what that is either like everyone else does and search it up. After there are NO i mean NO boost leaks then ask more questions.
