Who does professional eprom socketing locallY?

Desoldering was the worst part. The chip was glued in there. I kept thiking I missed some solder because the chip wouldint budge.

Then I inserted the new socket and it wouldnt seat all the way as there was a small resistor in the way, so I made a little notch in the socket to clear it.

Btw how much was the ZIF socket?
