Does anyone know anywhere that will put in a socket for a eprom chip locally?

I had Steve from Wisconsin do it, he will give you a whole diagnostic check on your ecu as well, so more then worth the money

There's different kinds of sockets as well. Make sure whomever does it uses the correct socket. I don't remember which design is the correct version, but the "wrong" ones don't hold the eprom chip in there very well. I had an issue with that once and the DSMLINK guys changed out my crappy socket for the right one.
Just something to keep in mind...
