Your best bet would be to buy a Chilton or Haynes manual for the timing and compression specs. I'm pretty sure all DSM models are in the same book. If you can't find one, try visiting their websites or call them. All you need should be in there

Mine doesn't have bent valves it is a non interference motor so the valves will never hit the piston compression is 120 across the board it's tired but not broken an so I need to find absolute tdc so I can see it jumped teeth but I don't kno what position the cam is suppose to be an so if there is a link that u kno to help me I would appreciate it

just curious how low?
Everytime I've dealt with a bent valve, compression numbers were way down there close to 0.
So you know your timing skipped? Well then there's the obvious place to start. Just start searching for how to do it. Or like was mentioned, buy a Haynes, or maybe it's on those DSM CD's that float around? Pretty sure I have a Haynes, and a CD at home somewhere...

That's not horrible for a motor with that many miles, and as long as it's even across the board, you probably are good.

Like I said, go to O Reilly's or some other parts store, and buy a Chilton manual. This should all be in there. I really doubt if many people on this site know a whole lot about the 4g37, so we are all just giving you general car knowledge in hopes that you figure it out. Go buy a manual. :D
