I ran 950cc's with a SAFC on e85 and it worked pretty decent actually, luckily e85 likes more timing than gas so its not so bad. retard your stock timing 3 degrees and let er rip.

They said they are doing this in a 2g, unless there is a 6 bolt swap you could not do this, 2g base timing is not adjustable with the cam/crank sensors.

It works, but its a ghetto round about way of doing it.

sometimes we just want to have fun and do things a little different

could be worse i could of made a thread about a afc 1 knob or 5 knob and a Blaha maf

I have run 880s on E85 with an SAFC on a 16G/stock SMIC car. It worked decent enough, we couldn't go crazy with the boost like usual on E85, because it would knock bad above 20psi with the horrible stock SMIC on there and no timing control. The MAFT is a shitty tuning device though, I would take a 2G MAS and SAFC over a MAFT. Like John said 880s on E85 are like running 600s on pump/race gas. The E85 can handle more timing, so it should work even better than 600s on pump gas and if you are able to raise your boost/airflow up enough the timing will drop with it.
