My problem with this kind of car is that it is too expensive for a daily but too slow to be a sports car. If I'm spending low 20's then I'd buy a 3-Series lease return and not a pedestrian car.
I'll wait until this is an upper teen car. And I don't buy euro, but can understand what you are saying.

I don't get that comparison. Are you comparing the price of a brand new car to a 3 year old used car?
I'd buy one of these as a lease return. Probably what 17k by then?

Sure, 3 years from now. If I were looking for a car in that price range right now then it wouldn't make the cut for me.
New Hyundai !> used BMW as a daily driver.

So this is basically the same engine as the Genesis Coupe? Seems like it could be a fun little car to putz around town in, But for what they want for it, I'd get a Genesis over this.

Acually this is the beefier version, similiar to the engine we roll in the evo x. The MPG and the fact it creates good power on regular.. seems like a win win scenario.

They said it still has a completely open deck design (Evo has semi-open deck and beefier rods and pistons than the Genesis motor). Just that this one has beefier rods and pistons than the 2.4 in the normal Sonata. I know that the Genesis also has a completely open deck as well, which leads me to believe that it's largely the same as the Genesis 2.0t motor.
