It looks like some nice IX's are starting to dip below $20k now (guess I sold at the right time).

The prices on the 2010's are still ugly but eventually they'll hit the used market (usually takes 6 months) and start pressuring everything else downward. It was a real concern when I bought my 08 so late in the game.

I hear what you're saying about not gutting it but if you're going for a Summer-only (perhaps weekend-only) performance car then you can afford to be a little more extreme with it. That's how I'm looking at it, anyway.

The main reason to get a 9 is MIVEC and the main advanatage of MIVEC is spoolup and midrange power. Otherwise the cars aren't that much different. All the 6-speed, ACD, etc kinds of things might come down to the person.

^haha, i forgot about mentioning the mivec deal.

I really want this to happen, but I don't think it will.
