Sorry if this is going off topic at all but, are springs and retainers all you need to rev to 8000 or 8500 rpm?

Rods would help. If you don't have a big turbo, cams and a sheetmetal then reving it that high is a waste of time also. I wouldn't rev the stock big rods past 8000.

buuuuut if enes is going for the 2.17L gringo revvy motor then he'll want some stiff ass springs to quench valve float.

also is THIS (http://store.yahoo.com/machv/brvaspandtir.html) just some rebadged crower shiot?
