I would keep that shit, would be a sweet down payment on a house :D

Don't be so quick to judge. Many people from other countries purchase only with cash. I sold a Volvo XC90 to two gentlemen who brought $16,000 in cash for it, and it was all different bill denominations, stacked on the desk it was almost a foot tall. We took it directly to the bank and they verified it was good clean funds. That vehicle was on a boat for Russia the next week.

Yep, an Iraqi friend of mine that lives here in St. Cloud pays for everything in cash. He came here with like 40k in his suitcase haha

I would more than likely give it back, in situations like that I try to put myself in the other persons shoes when I make decisions. Sure the natural reaction is to keep it, but if you were the person who lost 18k and you were running around frantically wondering where it went you would be delighted if you got it back.

On the other hand if you are dumb enough to carry around that much money and lose it, you deserve to not get it back. And a $250 reward....he should have gave them a grand to split up.

I paid 27k in cash for my evo when i went to pick it up. The guy i bought it from straight up asked me if i was a drug dealer/drug runner though :rollinglaugh: since i was so young.

18k in cash idk though. i agree with sitting on it and waiting for something to go public first.

Bamm One years worth of Tuition Payed Of In A Heart Beat. I Think The right thing would be to turn it into the police station. The problem with that is its cash money . . . how would the person taking over the case or responsibility of finding the owner not stash a bit for himself. Claiming thats all he received?
