The AMS racing evo had the cables in an X to prevent just this event from happening, seems to have worked. If they were "more hardcore" (and I say that from a non-hardcore standpoint) they would have made their wing stands bolt to the floor of the trunk and go through holes in the trunk lid, then they could have had side bracing inside where you can't see it.

There are some ridiculously large wings on autocross cars that do not have side bracing and they flop around all over, I always wonder why they don't put a diagonal bar across them.

Autocross cars also don't travel at 100mph+ very often.

I thought they had wings for lift off. SKip ahead to 50 seconds for the full speed view (probably way more than 150mph). A slow motion view can be seen at 2:00.
