and this is what was underneath it, the restrictor is INTACT its hard to see because of the picture but theres a wee little pinhole in there.

I'm going to put it alll back together tonight. If it runs right good :) if it fails im going to take it off and send it to FP.

Julien said he would pay for Half of it. Hopefully it works fine, if it doesnt hopefully he comes through ( I did give him $550, a 24pk of Corona, and a 60Trim for this 20g and $50 this week for driving.)

If that restrictor is still in there, It should be limiting the oil pressure so you shouldn't need a restrictor on the line to the turbo. It also means that the 20g is going to need new seals.

Yeah theres definitly other problems since it is restricted already.

That's what I was thinking but no, has to be a typo....lol

I would've hung onto the 60 trim.

So would FP not rebuild my turbo then since it is not an FP turbo?

Remember that we only service Forced Performance Turbochargers, DO NOT send in a turbo from another company for service or repair, it will be returned to you freight collect. No exceptions.

Doesn't look like it

Jake and i spent last night putting every thing back together. It smoked for a while after it was all said and done but eventually stopped. Its running like a champ. i've put a total of 15 miles on it now so a new smoke free record jk.

Yeah, takes a few miles to burn out the oil the exhaust... Must have been the issue.
