62% doesn't meet the EPA's requirements for E85 so my initial thoughts are to verify the accuracy of the testers since they could face huge fines, plus it just doesn't make sense economically to blend at that level.
Although it could have been, as stated before, old contaminated E70, the lower limits of E85 seems to be 51% as stated at the .gov website.

I was putting gas in my truck the other day at Kwik Trip and noticed the one down here that has E85 shows Minimum 85% Ethanol sticker on all of their pumps. I am curious what it really is at.
I dont trust it and still get E98 from a local for $3.70/gal for as little as I drive the car, then I dont have to worry about it.

All the stations used to have incorrect Min 85% a few years ago, then they replaced them with correct Min 70% stickers. Maybe they missed that station with the new stickers.

Any update on this at all. It is that time of the year, and I am guessing a lot of people are going to be getting tuned. Interested if anyone has done any testing?

As stated, why don’t you pick up a 10 dollar hydrometer tester? I wont go without one now. Every station is different from one fill up to the next.
