Every time i have used full poly mounts i have never had issues with vibrations. Lucky i guess. I have heard a lot depends on the balace of the motor, Similar to when you remove your balance shafts.

with no balance shafts, poly mounts, and cams, almost any car would vibrate pretty good. My talon has all these and all poly suspension bushings, and it is a rattle trap just idling, let alone going down a bumpy road. Good thing it is only a weekend warrior.

When making a lot of power the block needs to flex a little bit. Otherwise your going to crack the block. Polly mounts are awesome!!

Explaine why your block needs to flex a bit.......? You cant say it does without explaining why it needs to. I highly doubt any damage would occur from a block that isnt allowed to move back and forth in its motor mounts.

I think he means the ability to move/poly mounts help absorb some of the vibrations and shock from launching etc..

What about a rear-drive, long stroke motor that shakes violently in stock form (with balance shaft elimination, of course). For me, there are poly mounts available but I've ridden in a quest with them and I think I lost a filling. What durometer are the mounts you guys have? I think there are 80 and 90 durometer mounts out there for me.
