After I had gotten back to my car, got in, and started it up I was looking at what I'd just bought when a Mom and her kid walk in front of my car. Not a big deal, except for the fact that the kid decided to stick is arm straight out with his tippy cup in hand drag it across the hood, leaving two nice sized scratches.
I got out and said, "You dumb broad, learn how to control your fucking kids."
Okay, I didn't say that, but as she apologized I was estimating how far I could punt that kid across the parking lot.
I didn't go any further with it, the hood has a bunch of rock chips so a re-spray is in order anyway. But it's not like I was happy about adding to them.

Erm..Didn't ask her insurance to pay? Less money YOU spend on this issue, = more money for mods.

Eh, I look back and I wish I would have, but honestly, I really don't wanna deal with it. I'm probably gonna go CF anyway.

Thats fucked up and 1 of the many reasons I try to park far from people.
But my car looks like shit now, so I just do it to save $$ on fixing all shit wrong with the body

Last summer I had to sand and buff some scratches out of the driver side fender from where someone decided to drag something across the length of it. I fucking hate stupid people.

I stopped caring about my pile a while back.
But I'd still have flipped a shit and asked for insurance info or straight cash on the spot, because whether you fix it or not, that's still money in your pocket. What's a parent doing dragging a kid to Best Buy anyway? Cell phone time for your 4 year old?

Sippy cups are generally plastic, plastic doesn't scratch paint, it scuffs it. Dab a little wax on a rag and remove the scuffs, stuff happens.
