Find an equation for the area of the little red circle and you will win yourself one huge whopping dollar! The 3 big circles are all the same size and they are touching which obviously makes the triangle an equilateral triangle with each side equaling 2r.
Any helpful advice will earn you a genuine compliment courtesy of me!

That picture is shitty. Where does the red circle intersect the big circles? Where the big circles intersect? Do the big circles overlap (and touch in two points each) or simply touch in one point?

the actual point which it intersects are irrelevant. I'm guessing what he needs is a general equation to encompass any size circles to find the area between, regaurdless of size.
