wow asshanson, did you type that up or did you google somthing?
I did all that by myself last night, didn't use google at all. I made those pictures in MS Paint too. It's just trig, but it was sort of a challenge after drinking.
He probably typed it up, he's a genius, just doesn't know how to drive...
Haha... thanks?

You sir, win yourself a dollar :) I did in fact solve this with my roommate a different way, but I forgot to post up my solution first. What's your paypal so I can send you a huge whopping dollar? lol

Don't worry about it, I hate dealing with paypal. Especially since you figured it out anyway... what approach did you use?

haha sounds good. I'll buy ya a beer sometime I ever go to a meet sometime haha.
First I made a trapezoid with the long side equal to 2R, and the two sides equal to R. Then I created a 30/60/90 triangle and solved for the short side of the trapezoid. Then I found an equation to find the radius of a circle with a triangle inside in. Kinda hard to explain, but eventually my buddy showed me the way you did it and that's much quicker and simpler. Props on being smart even when you're drunk lol.
