I saw today on tuners, about graveyards regrind cams. They offer a 272/274/280. The 274 caught my interest, they're $290, and are an in between for the 272 and 280. Now, the old saying, "ya get what you pay for", comes to mind when I'm reading about these cams. What worries me, is the whole regrind thing. Are there any big negatives to using a regrind (I know they use shims to compensate)? I'm trying to figure out if they're even worth my time. If a regrind is terrible, then I'll save myself some reading.
Thanks ahead of time!
..I'm basically looking for pros and cons on regrinds, thought I'd clear it up.

Cause I like to be different?...no but seriously I'm more or less just trying to learn. I plan on getting kelfords or hks in the spring. Just want to know if regrinds are at all worth looking into.

Great, he probably could have gone faster with something else. Don't be like Bushcur ;) Just b/c something goes X et @ Y mph in the quarter-mile doesn't make it good.
