Anyone else wanna rally around Sept 11th?
I may go but who knows, that's at the end of the week that I will be getting back from SCCA Solo Nats in Lincoln on top of 3 other out of town trips within 2 weeks time.

Anyone else wanna rally around Sept 11th? We could pay our respects to those fallen and the twin towers by doing what we love most: playing with cars! $69 is a lot but I'd love to get a couple runs with this clutch and the new turbo. maybe I can gun for a 13.0? :)

Id be done for the 11th, whatever the date, I need my events coordinator approval.

This thread is about bench racer's league, actually get off the bench and get some numbers down. Let's talk about us actually going racing though instead of what we might do once we get there, you can run 17's for all I care!

September 11th, Testing day at rock falls, mark your calendars!

All you need to know what to do at the drag strip is: Don't try to stage with the back tires or people will laugh at your and reaction time doesn't matter at all unless you are in a heads up race. The guy next to you probably isn't trying to race you also, so don't worry about him unless you are in eliminations.

Your launch and 1-2 shift are 80% of your race, if you screw either of those up there is no way to save the ET after that, so don't try to force it.

When is the next auto-x? If I can shift some parts I would like to do it. Plus matt d. said i could get a ride I want to see If like this auto-x thing.

If I can round up an AEM by then I will make it out for the 11th.

And to quote Kyle the night before I was going to the track "you will have no issue with your cousins CBR 1000rr, that with a good rider can run a 9.5@150"
He has ridden the bike in question more then a few times.
