Holy CRAP! That's insane, did your car get parked in a swamp for a few years or what? Now get back to modding and forget this crap about selling it :)

No, Duluth, but I guess they're close to the same thing. :D
Anyway, yeah, I'm thinking this isn't going to stop me from continuing to mod the car, all I've really got left are easy things... Exhaust, Injectors, ECU, hardly anything that can't be transplanted down the road with little effort.

LOL Duluth actually uses less road salt than the Twin Cities. Since pretty much everything drains directly into Lake Superior they use a lot of biodegradable ice melts.

Well, there's no build progress to report, but I've got pics detailing this past week in spending:

I don't know when it's all getting installed, but the plan is sooner rather than later.

Story time.
Last night I was driving home from a buddy's and the car felt a little down on power. I figured it was being dumb and pulling timing, since it didn't feel jerky or anything at the time, I was tired, and I had to be up early.
This morning on the way to class, it was alright for a bit, then it started missing on a single cylinder, first under boost, now it does it a bit into vacuum. So I pulled off and checked things out, all pipes are tight, plug wires are solid at both ends, idled fine, but the distributor was clicking pretty hardcore to the point of sounding like a decent exhaust leak (but we know those don't come from the intake mani).
So would I be right to start there? AKA Do the symptoms fit the diagnosis? Never had one of those things fail on me and I don't know how quickly they can go.

Your EGR could cause an exhaust leak at the intake manifold and will make your car run funny under boost if not functioning properly.

Nice looking brake setup though! I assume those are the newly revised Reds? Should be a great street/autox pad.

Looks good! I had the old-style EBC reds on my 2G and was less than impressed, hopefully this new compound they've developed actually make the car stop :)
I *may* have a spare set of 2G coils laying around at my house if you wanna try them.

It's directly under the center of the mani where the plug wires go, not from the side by the valve.
Regardless, I'm pretty sure the coil pack shouldn't be loud enough that I think I have an exhaust leak, and I know that's where the noise is coming from.
Scheides, you gonna be at OC tonight? If not, I'll probably just pick one up at O'Reilly after class.
