Why did you build your car?
I built my car because having a fast car is fun, and I (somewhat) enjoy getting my hands dirty working on my own stuff once in a while.

What is your Current WHP? What is your goal?
Current is 305WHP/255wtq, my goal is 400whp and whatever torque I can get


What is your fastest 60ft, 0-60mph, 0-100mph and ¼ mile times? (I realize these probably would have been determined on a track rather than on the street)

My best 60ft is a crappy 1.9 due to no traction throughout first gear. 0-60 I have no idea, and my best 1/4 mile time is a 12.8 @ 110.5. Since then, I have a new clutch and new tires (new turbo coming soon) so hopefully those numbers will improve next summer.


Why do you street race?
I only do it when conditions are safe for it. AKA: No traffic for miles, no potential for crossing traffic, and usually it's with someone who I know so that I know they will be as responsible about it as I am, and I know they aren't going to lose control of their car and crash.


What would you do if a V8 pulled up next to you at a stop light, revved his engine and started yelling “Rice burner, Jap crap, 4 banger, I’ll smoke you on green… etc.”?
Depends on the situation. If there's no traffic around, I might show them what's up, but more than likely, I'd just let them go.

Have you ever totaled a car?
Yes, not related to racing though

Have you ever blown an engine racing?
yes, not while racing.

Have you ever purchased/sold stolen car parts? (I’m guessing no one will answer)
If I'm buying something used, I like to know a little about the background of the part so that this doesn't happen. If I have ever purchased stolen parts, I did it unknowingly, and if I ever find out someone is selling known stolen stuff, they're going to get a nice friendly visit.

Last dyno was 250HP, 250 TQ. That was my 16g on pump at DB. With my SCM61 & E85, I will be shooting for around 450 at DB.

Never had the DSM in one piece long enough to bring it to the track lol.
My WRX has ran a 14.74 @ 96, 0-60 g-teched at about 6.3 or so.

I don't, I test and compare!

I'd probably burn him down depending on what he was driving.

170-180... ish. ~300 I guess. Horsepower sucks, I want torque.

Why do you street race?
I prefer 'test and compare', and because I want to see how I stack up to the guy in the next lane.

I'd look for a cop, then likely launch it and shut down at the speed limit.

Im a very bad driver my 60 ft was a 2.207 and my 1/4 mile was a 12.8 at 113. Never launched the car and only drove it down the track once!

Because I enjoy it. I haven't street raced my current car, but the car that I did SR, I built because I found it to be a challenge of "engineering skill"

Unknown, and a bit more. guesstimated at 425hp.
The car I SR'd was probably 325ish with nitrous.

With the car I street raced, 1.71 60ft, 12.34@109 MPH
With my current car, 1.654 60', 11.409 @ 120.07 MPH

Why do you street race?
I did SR because my friends did it, and it was a massive adrenalin rush.

When I did SR, I would have smoked his ass cause I could pull 1.7 60's on the street, not just at the track with rubber laid down and slicks.
Now, I would look around first and then smoke him cause my car's even faster now.

No. I have blown an engine during a lapping day at a sanctioned road course. But that's not racing as there are no winners or losers.

After hours of research and writing my speech is finally finished! I don't Present until next Wednesday but I may have to upload the video if I don't fail horribly.
