The Magnus route is a tad bit expensive.

The Magnus route is a tad bit expensive.
2.14 in general is expensive.
It would be sweet in a light wieght, high revving, auto'd FWD though

That's what bothers me as it really shouldn't be, there is no additional machining and the only "custom" piece is the connecting rods. Like I said we will have 156mm length rods in the near future and they will be very cost effective ;)

^ Let us know when.
It would then come down to a 63 7-bolt or 64 6-bolt 2.2l build, for myself anyways.

I was also considering this when I built my 2.4. At the time I did not have a tranny that could shift that high so I scrapped that idea. Still would like to do one some day.
Cost would be about the same as a built 2.0. The only additional cost for most people would be a 2.4 block. Just find a friend that wants to do a 2.3l and then buy a 2.0 motor and a 2.4. swap cranks and you have a 2.1 and a 2.3

2235cc is what I'd be shooting for... 94mm eagle crank with either 156rods / -3 pistons or 159rods / -6 pistons in a 64. This will be my fall (winter) build.
