Ha.
I also agree with taking shifting into consideration. Having a high revving motor might seem cool, but being able to shift at that high of an RPM will be something you'll have to take into consideration. That's one thing that attracts me to strokers. Oh well if I can't rev as high, I make up for it in bottom end torque, and don't have to worry about high RPM shifting.

^my thoughts exactly if you setup isn't gonna make power to 9k+ why hold a motor to do it? ESP for a street car.
Have u heard about using stroker pistons in reg 2.0 to get better rod ratio because of the relocated pin height?

You'd have to use correspondingly longer rods as well.

So, any weirdness with install that anyone would know since its a 4G64 block? Didn't the 2.4 guys have to re-mark their cam gears and use a different tbelt or something?

Timing belt and cam gears from 1995 DOHC Galant I believe, might be 1994, but again this applies to the 6 bolt stuff only. However, you can use the 4g63 belt and cam gears if you degree them ;)

I just happen to know a certain someone with a set of those DOHC cam gears laying around.

Where can one find these off the shelf custom rods?

As of right now you can't find 6 bolt anywhere as they are no longer mass produced by anyone that I am aware of. 7 Bolt rods are still being made in the 156mm length by Manley, and you can find them from this guy ;)

So what t-belt do you need to use for the evo application? And what cam gears, those same 2.4 ones?

Magnus has the parts and can build you one of these motors as well. It was something I was looking into for a little bit, but a cheap set of eagles and off the shelf pistions seemed like a lot cheaper and easier option. They do sound and seem pretty bad ass though.
