I was in Mr. Kopp's graphic design class, a junior in high school. One of my buddies came in the room and said that there was a bombing in the WTC (not really knowing what was going on), Mr. Kopp tryed to get everybody to sit down and nobody listened, about 5 minutes later everyone in the school was hudled around every TV in the school. Nothing really got done that day as everybody was kind of in shock. One year and two months later, I joined the Army on my 18th B-Day. (Mom didn't want me to so I couldn't when I was 17) I now have a 9/11 theme sleeve tattooed on my left leg, it's a work in progress.

Did you go to North high school? In north saint paul?

^ haha I was thinking the same thing.

Its pretty crazy how everybody remembers where they were such a long time ago, hell most the times I can't remember what I had for luch 2 days ago.

Sleeping and my mom called me up freaking out that America was going down and that we're all gonna die, I hung up and went back to sleep. Then off to work at a gas station, lines for gas for miles in all directions, because of the price scare.

I was in 8th grade history class. With mr. vogel. I heard about it and had no idea what the world trade center was, but we watched it on tv.

I was working at my first real full time job. We didn't have any tv's there (it was a target store supply warehouse) so all we had was the radio. I remember there was alot of confusion in the news at the time and nobody really knew what was going on so I didn't really understand how serious it all was till I got home and saw it on tv.

I was working at Metro Mitsubishi and heard about it on the KQ morning show. Went to the waiting room to see the damage to the trade center on CNN. As soon as I saw the hole in tower 1 I knew it was no Cesna.

I got there just in time to see the 2nd plane hit live. Everyone thought it was a replay untill the plane got close and you saw the other tower was already burning. Right then and there I new it was only going to get worse. It was a crazy day.

It was a messed up day. I was in some kind of history class in the lovely BCHS (senior year) when we found out. The second plane had just hit and I remember the teacher was in tears. She was freaking out.

The next class, the teacher told us it wasnt a big deal and he ended up locked in his office so we could watch. He had just gotten out to see the first tower go down and he then realized how big of a deal it was. After that the day was a wash. The pseo at Hennipen tech was cancelled so I ended up waiting at the high school waiting for my freinds to get out of class. I still went to work but nobody was in the mood to buy auto parts that evening.
