Just got a set of these in with Mitsubishi adapters on them for DSMs, Evo 8 and Evo 9. 2200cc at a 43.5 base fuel pressure and they are capable of being run at extremely high fuel pressures, unlike most fuel injectors.

The 1000cc version of these injectors tune, idle, and respond like a factory stock injector. We have tuned a bunch of S2000s, Acura RSX's, and turbo B-Series cars on the 1000s and they usually run amazing. The 2200s should hopefully kill the 1600s out there in idle quality and drivability. The main problem with the 1600s is not that they are too big, it's that they are just a poor injector and do not have linear enough flow, a pulse width of 1.5ms can actually give less fuel than 1.25ms. That can cause problems and force you to have to run the car richer at idle and part throttle with the 1600s to get any drivability.

I am trying these tomorrow on an Evo 9 with an AEM EMS on it. Even with an aftermarket peak & hold injector driver box, the AEM EMS can't handle the 1600s very well, so this should be a good test.

Yep. They are a step up from the big Siemens Deka injectors as far as tunability goes.

They should work great, since the OEM Mitsu ECU injector drivers can handle the 1600s and 1650s better than most ECUs. The 1600s/1650 aren't perfect with the factory ECU/DSMLink, but at least the car usually drive decent.

They are very expensive, but they avoid having to goto a 2 fuel rail setup, different intake manifold, and 8 injectors on a lot of cars(1000s or smaller primaries for idle/drivability with 1600 secondaries coming on under boost), or if you actually need more than 1600 of flow.
