My comment was one-sided, the performance side. Last time I checked this board was not aimed at making our cars rolling couches ;) I just assumed my "generic" comment would be taken as a performance statement and not in a comfy in-laws are happy in the backseat type of way. Also, you will note the OP only mentioned performance specs leading me to believe that is what this thread is about.

Woot for rolling couches!

I personally don't care for the new SHO either, but I can see my dad really liking it. Lately he's been wanting a comfortable family car that's sort of sporty. But for almost $40k you can do a lot better I think.

I think it looks pretty cool, that video however does it no justice.

What I think is cool is that expect this engine to be going into a lot of Lincolns... 365hp twin turbo Town Car anyone? :D

Super Bleeder!!

Tell that to Steve in his thread about making his Eclipse into a "Lexus". ;)

I'm not telling anyone to turn anything into a rolling couch. I'm talking about comparing apples to apples (ie: the cars in the title of this thread). Shall we infultrate Andrews CTS-V thread next with comments about how it's a rolling couch and a sport compact will dominate it at the track? :D

Anyhow, my comments weren't meant as an attack, and this is getting a little out of proportion here. I was just simply saying comparing how an SHO performs at a track to an Evo, well that's completely apples to oranges, and anyone who would expect similar performance out of these 2 cars is nuts, as they're completely different animals.

In the end, I agree I would much rather have the G37, or a G8. I'd pass on the SHO.

Are we still friends?
