And B, why would doing nothing from one day to the next cause a problem to spring up?
You are driving a 20 year old dsm. I would think things would just spring up

Boost cut is set at 19psi in the tune I have for your car.
Now it's 20 since when it was cold outside it was hitting it, despite gauge, boost controller, and log readings that said otherwise.

Get a 1g E-prom, make it work with your 90 wiring harness and run DSMlink.

I heard those run 1600's better than aems :) will the DSMLink work with speed density stuff? or would I have to convert back to mass air sensor style?

How much boost was the car tuned on? Is it overboosting?

17.5psi (or "43" % on the boost controller), and I never touched that. My analog gauge and the boost controller never said it was higher than that, but it's hard to know for sure what's going on without hooking up the laptop, and wouldn't you know it, the very same day my car started acting up, my hard drive took a huge dump and won't work, haha. My friend is going to let me hook up his computer to my car, so I'll update if/when I find something.
I forgot, it did it the first time at WOT, higher up in the rpm range, then it seemed to do it at lower boost, so i just parked it and said screw it for now.

really sounds like you developed a small hole somewhere and its getting bigger
thats what happend in my talon, worked gret for a while, then started getting fuel cut just before redline, slowly backing its way down to any boost was causeing it.
turned out the line coming off my j pipe to the boost controller was rubbing and developed a hole.
im sure this can happen anywhere after the airflow sensor
