Hey wassup guys im new here, fairly new to the MN area, new to dsm and turbo technology for that matter. I just picked up a rattle-canned black 94 tsi awd a couple weeks ago. It's a diamond in the rough condition. A few mods that came with the car: 16g, 550cc, 2g maf. Anyways, I go to school in St. Thomas and home in Chicago, IL in the summers. So I'm not in the Twin Cities right now, but will be in a couple weeks. Anyways just making my presence known and hope to see you guys in the future.

ps..I'm embarassed to post pics of my car right now so there are none yet.

haha nah I don't have any ricey stuff on my car. Anyways I'll snap some pics when I come back to the Twin Cities. As far as my area, I think it may be similar to the Roseville area. Lol

Yeah, don't be embarrassed, at least it's not primer gray!

First thing you should probably do is ditch the 2G MAF and get at the very least an SAFC. While the 2G MAF works great for mixture (just a bit rich) with the 550s at WOT, at lower throttle position (and therefore less airflow) the signal has greater frequency differences from the 1G MAF, causing excess fuel to be added, to the point where it's possible to wash your cylinder walls with fuel.
