10"? Not enough. Also, ditch the sway bars, they just add weight.
we run slightly softer springs than we really should, the sways actually help. (actually if you look at some heavily prepped rally cars, such as CPD1, you'll find they use surprisingly stiff sway bar set-ups - and not in the stock location either)

Believe me, I know all about the importance of sway bars. I wouldn't even think about running a car that loosely sprung on tarmac without some thick bars. I'd just like to see what happens when someone does, is all. :D
But then again, I suppose that cage helps a bit with chassis stiffness.

This seriously makes me want to ditch the coilovers and put better springs on my stock struts just so I can do some rallycross.

I'm sure Matt will do just fine at rallycross.
Maybe when he does come out to a rallycross it won't be icy and raining!! And he won't be riding in a CRX!!
Seriously it would be good to see ya out there. I was going to run all this year in the MR2, but I've put too much work into it to run it around on the dirt. I ran it last year and just couldn't quite get it to hook up right. I gotta practice, but I want a different rwd car for it.
And BTW, I have taken FTD before at rallycrosses as well (well shared it with Jim Cox)! So every dog has his day. Even Mark U will tell you he is not immune to being beat. I wish I had a 1g again to run around out there. But for now I will sit on the sidelines and watch everyone else. Unless someone with a RWD would let me borrow their car. And not be too upset when I beat them in it!!

That was a rough day... I've become more resistant to the elements and have learned to plan ahead for unexpected weather since then. :)

That's good!!
Honestly I can say that I have seem some very good autocrossers come over to rallycross and whoop up on some good drivers. Don't think that just because they have never competed on dirt that they can't be fast at it. I poke fun at autocrossers all the time and they poke back. But both disciplines take time and talent to master. I have great respect for all competitive drivers no matter what surface they run on. I just prefer to do my racing in the dirt.

I'll be there but I'm not gonna be driving (that pesky safety stewarding duty that I talked myself into). I wish I had a car right now that I didn't mind using out there. I'm selling the MR2 right now so I don't want to use it out there. I need to find someone to share a car with.

My boss decided last minute that she wanted to open on Sunday, so it turns out I'll be showing up after all.
Any possibility of someone letting me share their car? I'd be more than willing to share the cost of gas.

My buddy would probably co-drive with you in his civic :) The black one with no windows and the roll cage.
