I have a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T Spyder for sale. 106k miles on the chassis
There is a story behind this car. DO NOT bitch about the price of this car.
The car used to be highly modified. Now the engine is STOCK, minus having exhaust
I purchased it with a broken timing belt, after inspection of everything, the engine itself needed more than just a timing belt. I bought a replacement engine, complete running 1998 7 Bolt engine with 55k miles on it
I removed the engine that was in the car, and put the new engine in. Only to find out that the the car was originally a GS spyder with a 2.4l. Luckily the 2.0 turbo engines are quite easy to swap in the 2.4 chassis. I ended up having to Re-wire the entire engine harness because the originally owner HACKED it together.
The car is running and driving now. The engine itself runs pretty good. I have the parts to replace the timing belt and water pump. (Mitsubishi recommends it at 60k miles) Also the radiator has a hole in it, but I do have a replacement to go in.
Top goes down just fine, windows work.

The car is not in perfect shape.
The paint needs some work (overspray and runs in it)
The windshield is cracked
The interior is torn apart but everything is there, the rear lower seat needs to be replaced
The front bumper is pretty rough shape
There is a Carbon fiber hood, that is painted but also cracked in a few places.
There is a fuel pump shut off switch
Brake light is on, due to either brake switch or e-brake switch

The car has cat-back exhaust, no catalytic converter, its also lowered 2" and has 17" rims with good tires on it.

Basicly I just need to get rid of this thing. I was looking forward to finishing this car to drive this summer with the top down, but I just do not have the time any more. I already have another car and just need to get rid of this.
The car does RUN and drive, but is suggested to be towed because of the radiator leak.
The car is sold AS-Is with no-warrenty
The car also comes with a ton of extra parts, including a brand new timing belt and water pump

$3800 OBO
The car is worth quite a bit more, when completed, I just need to get rid of it ASAP

I have a shit ton of extra stock parts that will go with this car!!!

okay I put the interior back together, put the front end on, but the bumper needs to be replaced.
put the new radiator in
took it for a drive, hits boost nice and quick, pulls nice...BUT the seals in the turbo need to be replaced, smokes pretty bad under boost..

Really Negotiable on the price, come look at it!!

Since he's only got a few posts, I'll vouch for him as well. I've seen the car, and it's exactly as described, and Ryan is a pretty decent guy ;)

Any rust? Sorry, it's hard for me to tell from pictures.

No rust, body is in good condition, there is a golf ball sized dent in the RF fender near the headlight..I did not find any bondo or anything on the car, I have no idea why it was repainted (especially when it was done so terribly)

My boss who does body work and paints says the paint just needs to be wet-sanded and buffed and it should come out looking pretty good.

If this doesn't sell i'll probably just finish it up and put it up for more. I just really don't have the time for it and need it gone asap.
