What kinda turbo are you on, and what are your power goals? If you're still running an OEM shortblock, who cares about a built head at that power level. Maybe cams and some better springs. Anything other then that is money better spent elsewhere.

I'm getting the head for a good price and it's never been installed or anything! all fresh and ready to go..

as for my setup

SCM6152E
greddy front mount
ported 2g exhaust mani
ported 2g 02 housing with custom tial 38mm external wg ( 02 dump )
680cc injectors ( for now )
Pump gas ( for now )
ECMlink
3" GM MAS
full exhaust ( thermal )
manual boost ( hallman )
bc 272's
Arp head studs
act 2100
Fresh tranny rebuild
Tokico Illumina's ( the kit )

want to boost 25psi on the 6 bolt

Posting this again: what do you mean by built head? Springs/cams? Or 1mm oversize valves, porting, valve job, etc? A built head can cost over $1000 alone with parts and machine work.

Sorry I saw it but I didn't know exactly so I was gonna check and see then post up what it is.... I'm not sure yet but as soon as I know I will let you know...

Also, I'm thinking about just doing the built longblock but I am not 100% sure yet...

Do you know how much 25psi is in power? what is the reason for this number?
I believe you put 350whp is your goal, now since you are good friends with mike I am pretty sure that you will be wanting to make more once you get a little time at 350 (depending where you make it and how much response you like).

Just so you know everyone is helping to save you from throwing money at the car, a lot of us here have in the tradition of DSMs turned into mechanics/DIYers on these cars.

Good luck.

Well I was planning on 20 psi on the 7 bolt but with the 6 bolt I want 25 psi and at least 400awhp and If I do the built long block I want 450awhp..

I know you all want to save me money but this is my way of being fed up with my car and doing this will keep me from selling it like mr.98gsx...

I love my car and hope to never sell it... Im also getting it for a pretty good deal.

You can probably achieve 450whp without a built motor, just a thought. Especially on a DynoJet, no questions.
