I have a blown e3 16g in my garage. I'm looking for more flow, so I'm curious if the compressor housing from said 16g would work decent on my stock 14b center and wheel.
I don't need to hear buy a real 16g, I just want to do some cheap upgrades with what I have.

I know it will work. I just don't know what benifits you'll get from it.

I have no doubts it'll fit. I'm curious if it'll perform better.

The only difference I know of is the opening for the intake is bigger. That could help but then there will be a big space between the compressor blades and housing. So then I wouldn't think it'd be as efficient.
Put an E3 16g wheel and housing on it, then you are good to go.

Then I have to send it out to be balanced. Just want to know if I'll see any gains with the 14b compressor wheel and an e3 16g comp. housing.

It will probably make it much less efficient and harder to make boost.
