Kevin4G63T had a 14b up for sale I made an offer on it and he accepted my offer, said I'd have to pick it up this weekend, then he sold it out from underneath my feet without so much as a courtesy call....

If you drove out to his house, wasted gas and time, only to have him say its gone, then that is unacceptable....
at the very minimum, he should have offered you gas money.
Is this the case?

Instead of a "...." at the end of your complaint, maybe you should include the details after your short account of what happened. Did you go out to his place to get it, or did you call him and find out that way or what?
Did you say you would 100% take it, or did you just say you wanted it? Most people consider it up for grabs until some money is put down on it.

I said I would take it said I'd pick it up on Sunday, I did not drive to his house, he sent me a PM stating that he sold it to another buyer for the full asking price and that it was already gone but I just thought it was crummy of him after saying that he accepted my offer to do this without at least seeing if I was willing to pay more, meet half way in between or something....I can understand what he did, but it doesn't make it right...

Sorry that you're unhappy, but its the nature of the beast. A lot of people are flakes, when I'm selling something I don't consider it sold until money is in my pocket.

Well I'm sorry you feel that way, I had a 2 hr drive I woulda had to make to go get the turbo, I told him I'd take it and in my book thats as good as sold. I guess your word don't mean shit so i'll be sure not to buy anything from u, each their own i guess, but I thought it was B.S. I know i'd never do it to someone, hell I could've done it multiple times, but instead i simply say sorry but i already told someone else they could have it but if it falls through i'll let you know, been more than once that i've done this even when I could've made more selling it out from under the first guys feet...

As a word of advice, when I really want a part from someone that I plan to pick-up, I offer to send a deposit via Paypal to hold the part until I arrive with cash.
I totally agree with what you're saying though, in a perfect world everyone would be just like you.

Well I appreciate the compliment, and I'm sorry if I came off snippy at you, this just really pissed me off, I'll be sure to keep the Paypal thing in mind in the future.
