just gonna add this in quick, i bought some injectors used for e-85, and got that gunk build up, cleaned them the best i could with cotten swaps and some cleaner, they came out ok, but i ran gas through them for a little while now there spotless

I won't have gas going through mine at all..not going back, nor do I even have a tune for it. So, now can I pull them, clean them, then put back?

well its just an option, you could pull them, clean them the best you can, and soak the tips in gasoline for a bit, should work out i would think, i dont know what it is specificaly that actualy causes gas to clean them though.

I degreed my BC 280's, it was a bitch but I seem to pull 2-4 more inches of vacuum at idle, than anyone else. Powerband seems to start around 4000-4200 rpm.

The fact that anyone advertises cams as drop in, is a farse.

its sad, but most people don't even degree their cams..it's just thrown on stock gears, and buttoned up.

My PTE1200's were covered in that black tar resin shit. They had about 12K miles on them pretty much always using Holiday E85.

A couple of minutes with carb cleaner and a pick and they cleaned up nice.

Have any of you guys run seafoam though the car(or other fuel injector cleaner) on a semi regular basis? Wondering if the people not getting the build up may be using something that cleans it up, and those that are getting it don't use a cleaner.

I havn't been running said injectors, but i had some 550cc RC injectors running E-85 all last year. Mine were spotless but i switched them out to run gas this summer on 450cc injectors due to idle issues. Will be going back soon i think, but now worried about this black goo.

I had 45,000 miles of only E85 and almost 3 yrs on my PTE 1000cc injectors and only two of the injectors had very small trace amounts of black gunk, the other two were perfrect. A cotton swap and small amount of carb cleaner removed it almost instantly. I'll have to pull my FIC bluemax 1250cc injectors at the end of the summer to see if they have anything.

I mainly fill up Holiday on Foley in CR or Holiday on 96 and 35W.
