Is there anything? Citing the last one as my reference, I can't think of one thing that I would normally put on that list that we didn't do.
For example, driving like a certain asshat in a yellow Cavalier did a few cruises ago. The biggest key is to be respectful of the group and other traffic on the roads.

The reason we chose to use MyAutoEvents is because they take care of the registration list and after the end they just mail us a check of all the registration fees. This gives Scheides and I more time to worry about fun stuff rather than the tedious administration stuff. We're considering using the same system for dyno-days in the future. Basically, we're tired of running around chasing down people to get their money. As for the cash questions, I would prefer if everyone would just pay/register online to keep stuff organized. Yes, we did have a surplus last fall with the $5 entry fee, but that surplus was about $3 (I'm not kidding) and no route test-drives were needed since I knew the Duluth area well. Also, it sure would be nice if we could raise a little cash to help buy some cool prizes for the dyno-days and also so Scheides isn't out of pocket thousands of dollars every year hosting this website.

Cool, that site sounds helpful.

Here is some more stuff that has been on my mind lately. I'm sick of having to explain myself constantly. We organize these cruises so I feel we are free to organize them in any way we see fit. I feel we've done a very good job in the past as most people come home saying how much fun it was and can't wait for the next one. Are we asking for a lot of money? No. Are we pocketing the money? No. It all goes back to the members in one form or another. If $10 is too heavy of a burden for you to pay for a weekend of fun I don't know what to say other than don't come. Planning these cruises has gone from being really fun for me to a frustrating burden because of the constant second guessing of my actions. $10 people! Thats the price of a movie ticket. What gives you more entertainment, a 2 hour movie or 30+ hours of fun with cars? Planning these cruises takes up a lot of time and energy and Scheides and I are not asking to be reimbursed for any of that. All we're asking is to help offset the costs out of our pocket a bit. Anyways, this may be the last MitsuStyle cruise I organize unless we can focus on the fun again.

can a guy still pay in person, I'd rather than transfer funds into paypal and deal with all that

Not to single you out my big sexy auto-parts slinging slut (sorry I haven't told you that in a while!), but it is this attitude that REALLY starts to take the fun out of organizing these types of events. Paypal should auto-deduct funds from your bank account if you paypal balance is not enough to cover what you're trying to pay.

What is more of a pita, 30 second or maybe a minute (really, that's all I spent signing up and paying) on the computer, or you remembering at some point in the next few months to give kracka or I some cash. Cash, you may say, right?

Now think of it the other way around. What's more of a PITA, getting $10 cash from 20 people over a few month period and keeping track of who's paid, how many people have signed up, constantly reporting that number back to people (cause everyone asks kracka or I that question at least 3 times between now and then), and then remembering who to harass (every day and even up to the day of the cruise), and then be exhausted from just dealing with just that task to the point of questioning why we actually take the time/energy to do these things.......or, not worrying about any of that, looking at the list provided by myautoevents.com periodically and then just get the cash after the event is over and the fun has already been had.

Again, help us help you! Constantly bugging people for the money the last few weeks before the cruise is a massive PITA, believe me. We put these cruises on for FUN and NOT FOR PROFIT.

Ok, anyone that hs complained now officially owes Kracka a hug the next time they see him. He plans the dopest routes, meeting points, places to stay, places to eat, photo op spots, etc for these cruises and each and every negative comment here is a tiny dagger in his back. Maybe you cannot see it, but I can, and I think its obvious by a few posts here and a few AIM chats that Hughes does not get enough props for the effort he puts into these cruises. He was bugging me in like fucking OCTOBER about planning the spring cruise. If this is not showing dedication to trying to plan the most fun trip that can be had on semi local roads (this is MN remember, not the california coast! LOL!) then I dare someone else to step up to the plate and plan one.

Anyone taht was on a certain 8-or-so stretch of road on the last cruise that can tell me to my face (and kracka) that it sucked, please step up:

Aaron, the comment about driving till your tank was empty......all I gotta say is you should have been on the fall cruise dude. I'm seriously lucky we planned gas stops.

Seriously, if you guys don't want to pay $10 to go then don't complain. It is pretty rediculous actually. The time and effort that goes in to these is a lot and they don't ask for a thing in return. If the site wants to try and make $2/person for prizes that get handed back out to us, who cares? They are the ones doing it!

Props for the hard work guys and please keep it up! I will take the bike on this cruise if the weather is decent.

Even after left-foot braking my pads down to nothing, I can gladly say I'd do that again.

I should be able to make this as long as it doesnt interfear with the first rallyx....
Seriously? If you were a points contender, I could maybe see that being an issue, but you're not. If this wasn't planned around the METC schedule, I'd definitely skip an autox to go.

As I said before, I wasn't complaining about the $10 fee and if my post came across as complaining, I'm sorry. I have no problem paying it, I was just curious as to why it went up. That being said, I'm really looking forward to this!!
