so this is in place of the spring cruise up to duluth? how much for the hotel?

-A. Swift

We've already had 2 cruises to Duluth and I try to keep things fresh and new every time. The only reason we did Duluth twice is because we were able to take different routes and Duluth/Superior works out really well. If memory serves me correctly the hotel is around $85/night. It has a pool, hot tub, free breakfast, free WiFi, etc. so it should work out perfectly for the group.

P.S. Fatty, I deleted your post, I'm sure you can figure out why. I suggest you reread the first sentance of the first post.

P.P.S. I also have paid my $10 fee just like everyone else.

Just to answer some of the questions I'll say this: yes there'll be E85, the route will be awesome, and if you need to question anything about the trip, just look back and find me someone that had a bad time on any of our previous cruises. :)

Sign up, go get your car ready (NOW!) and get ready for some fun!

Also, is it cool we bring others as long as they pay? or can I pay for everyone?
It is perfectly fine if you bring friends along. The fee is on a per car basis so feel free to have multiple passengers. If they would prefer to drive their own car have them register/pay on the site linked. Please explain to them beforehand on what is expected of them and what is and is not considered appropriate behavior on a group car cruise.

Kracka has, to my knowledge, picked out some great roads for us to take both there and back. Just about anywhere you go will have good bars to get hammered at.

What is there to complain about? It's going to be another great cruise and everyone should have an awesome time. $10 is not much, skip OC for a week and you'll be paid.

Let's make sure these cruises continue to happen people!!!!
I couldn't agree with this post any more. I've already spent 9 hours/450 miles pre-driving these roads and I'm going to have to do it again to make sure things go as smoothly and we have the best route as possible.

Who's complaining?

I registered, should end up being myself and Katy. If something happens and we can't make it, we'll be refunded right?

Is there anything? Citing the last one as my reference, I can't think of one thing that I would normally put on that list that we didn't do.

As I told Hughes tonight, I will not register for this until I've paid Andrew back for the hotel room for the last one. But yes, I am in, my bank account allowing.

Just curious, but why is it $10 straight away this time? All the previous fees were only $5, and correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there a surplus from the fall cruise? I'm not complaining or anything, I'd just like to know if there's a reason for the increased fee.

can a guy still pay in person, I'd rather than transfer funds into paypal and deal with all that

^Word. I love cash.
I def. want in on this.
Past cruises I have been on have be AWESOME.
Actually kracka, next time you go I wouldn't mind a ride along if you got room and feel like it.
I can honestly say that if you somehow found a route that provided hours of driving to the point of running out of gas, or making me tired I would pay you more.
I love driving, i just went up to canada and that was in the corolla.
On craigs post, wouldn't you guys prefer cash? so you don't lose money in paypal, granted on $10 it shouldn't be much but after a bunch of us wouldn't it be significant.

The reason we chose to use MyAutoEvents is because they take care of the registration list and after the end they just mail us a check of all the registration fees. This gives Scheides and I more time to worry about fun stuff rather than the tedious administration stuff. We're considering using the same system for dyno-days in the future. Basically, we're tired of running around chasing down people to get their money. As for the cash questions, I would prefer if everyone would just pay/register online to keep stuff organized. Yes, we did have a surplus last fall with the $5 entry fee, but that surplus was about $3 (I'm not kidding) and no route test-drives were needed since I knew the Duluth area well. Also, it sure would be nice if we could raise a little cash to help buy some cool prizes for the dyno-days and also so Scheides isn't out of pocket thousands of dollars every year hosting this website.
