Show you how to clean? haha. Just spray simple green everywhere, let it sit for a little bit. Start scrubing with the tooth brush in every hard place to get to. Then spray it down with water/bleech and scrub again and then spray it all off. Should be nice and shiny when your done!

how long did you let the simple green sit for? And, did it matter if you got it into any electronic connections or anything?

I let it sit for like 5-10mins.. and I wasn't around any electrical connectors and even if I was I don't think it woulda mattered. If you're worried about it just wrap them with electrical tape before you spray in that area.

I just got done looking over the link that you posted. Good work!
Now I should go look at my project. I don't even have the MAS sensor to worry about.

How do you like the wrap around the exhaust manifold? I kind of want to do that because my heat shield looks like crap, and I don't think it will fit around my Evo 3 manifold.

I am with you on not having too much money to stick into the car. Thats why cleaning up the engine bay sounds like a good project for a budget.

I jsut tried spraying some simple green on some areas, and let it sit, then wiped/scrubbed with a towl..didn't notice a real difference..maybe I'm doing it wrong?

The wrap took me a good hour or so. It's pretty hard but it wasn't bad. All I did was use 1 50ft role and used about 3/4 of it. You just gotta keep working it through the little holes in between runners.
