I say drive it like a new car. What I would do if I were you would be buy a complete eclipse and use the wiring harnesses for all that stuff, and plug it in like the chevy was a 93 (or whatever) eclipse. Really easy.
What trans are you using? D50 truck or an auto?
If you don't know who Bill Hincher is, you should learn. Google him and find his site, he makes bellhousings to adapt the 4g63 to popular transmissions.

Sounds like a pretty sweet project! Lately I've been thinking alot about putting a 4g63 into a '32 ford chassis, Seems like it would be pretty easy, I just don't have the money or space to build one.

Welcome to the site, great project! As others have said, don't drive it in the winter, what would the point of that be? Also don't listen the "other guys" at those "other websites". They would just have you put a piss ant 383 stroker in there and then you would have what everybody has; a piss slow cookie-cutter so called hot rod.

Actually I am using a conquest trans. It a wide block out of a D50 that I am swapping a 1g head on to.
But seriously, a classic shouldn't be driven year round. Buy a Geo for winter. But the whole point is to be different, and driving a car like that all year round isn't something people do. Its not like I am going to letting rust away or anything, everything that can be powder coated will be by primo performance so I will stay nice as long as you wash it every once an a while. My dad drove his 1948 GMC to work 60 miles a day year round for 20 some years and is just now redoing some body work. It will be driven all year though, sorry! All though I do have to build it first.

^Nice plug.
How much power you looking to make all said and done?
T56 would be awesome.
Its your car drive it how you want to, but its a shame that the salt will shorten its life.
But its a car that you love so drive it.

Well, hoping for around 350-400 crank, I'm thinking 20g turbo, custom header, stock internals, cams of some kind, obviously custom intake, injectors?, dsmlink, but willing to take suggestions as I don't know a whole lot about making power with this engine but I'm learning.

Yes it would but expensive and since I already have the conquest trans Im going to use it, always can change it out down the road.

Front will get a a Mustang II suspension, probably from Hiedts sp? Rear will be kept leaf springs for now with hopefully a posi 10 bolt

An Evo3 16g will make more than your goals are on e85, and it'll spool much faster than a 20g ever could. That's the route I'd go.
