It's a bit disheartening to see the fitment come out like that. I know a good body man could work with it but it's still a PITA and bugs anal folks like me. I was looking at getting a set of CF doors from them and I hate to think about that fitment!

I have a VIS hood and it its pretty well, not quite stock, but very close and I don't have any hood pins on. Post up some pics when you get it on!

Even the best body man couldn't get a hood like Brandons to fit like a stock hood withhout pins. It's way too high in the middle, hence the reason it's better now that the hood pins are in. But without them, there isn't much that could be done to get that hood to fit right. Unless you took the headlight covers off and egg'd out the mounting holes to get them to fit the contour of the hood.

you couild try [arking your car in direct sunlight in the summer on a hot day that will pull the hood in a bit more but it still might not fit right

Carbon fiber doesn't get soft if it gets hot. There's prettymuch no way to permanently alter the shape of it without fucking it up once the resin has cured.

THey weren't the most helpful company either. I wrote them immediately about the fitment, and it took them a long time to reply. WHen they finally did, all the told me to do was to adjust the rubber bumper/stopper things underneath, and that should fix it. Ha, yeah right....

Wow, that's fucked up. They were totally different with me. FedEx messed up my first hood and Hi Rev had it returned to them. One week later another one was shipped out overnight, which was yesterday arriving today.

But they respond to all my emails in a timely matter.

Glad to hear you had better luck with them then I did. Hopefully yours fits better too.

The car is complete. The motor has a little more dressing up to do. But it is running. The hood looks real good.
