God Damn, I understand what Iceman was going with, sucks ya got ripped on so bad. I dont know if I have ever seen a wastegate mounted on the number one runner on a STOCK manifold. Anyways...

#1 runner mounted wastegates are pretty common, deffinately more common than using the collector when dealing with the cast factory manifolds. No reason to feel bad for Icey, not only was he tossing out bad info, he was doing it in a very hostile manner for absolutely no reason (long before anyone ripped on him).

30+ PSI was just a number i through out there for the 14b. I agree with you completly but i was hoping you were going to mention something about the manifold design.
I would really like to see a 14b run 30 psi on a 2.0!! You are right in saying that it should be getting air from the collector or normal wastegate port though. [/b][/quote]
I have. Wouldn't hold it to redline but I have seen 30PSI out of a 14B on a 2.0. Fuel cut followed shortly along with the driver removing his foot from the gas pedal.

Iceman, I know you're probably sick of everyone ragging on you and giving their two cents, but everyone's been where you are. The difference is there are people like you, and and there's everyone else... You just suffered from opening your mouth and inserting both feet, biting off more than you can chew if you will. A while ago I made a post about shutting the hell up unless you know what you're talking about... Here's a link to it (http://www.dsmstyle.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=2043&view=findpost&p=24016) in case you forgot, which you obviously did.
No hard feelings, dude... Just don't let it become a common occurrance.
