Damn man, 3k? You are right though, they will pay them selves back plus more. This past summer I got a german shep, husky, lab mix for only $20! Never even had to train her either.

$3k is alot for a pet it seems, but then again we paid $400 for our purebred german shepherd, and it needed a $1700 surgery. We've never regretted paying the $2000 to keep him, he's the man.
have fun with the new pup!

Looks cool. I'd never spend that kind of money on a pet, but different strokes for different folks. My cat was free, been to the vet twice in her life, she's probably inbred or something who knows, and she's 20 years old and still tickin. :)

Thats alot of money for a dog. I'd rather go to a shelter to save an animal and pay a couple hundred bucks for shots. Cool looking dog, anyway.

I paid $300 for my Pitbull/Boxer and hes an absolutely gorgeous dog. We get comments on him all the time, plus hes really great with my 8 month old son very gentile. I got him from a local shelter. I would rather rescue a dog then pick him up from a breeder or pay someone $3000.
When i move back to MN i think we are going to need to get him a coat, Total OC Dog. Afraid of the cold.
