We can get the entire Pyrotect line which is what we use for the FD, they are SA2005 rated for competitive automotive sports and run in the $249 range ;)

I use an XL if you are interested in checking it out, I purchased based off measurements alone and couldn't be happier.

I got a nice Snell 2005 helmet off of Ebay for $79 shipped, it has worked great.

So then tack another few hundred on top of that for an Arai auto racing helmet. I'm not saying the cheapest auto racing helmet is more expensive than the most expensive motorcycle helmet. The cheapest low-end auto racing helmet I've seen is around $299 I think, whereas you can get a low-end motorcycle helmet with the needed SNELL certification for around $100.

Haha, just checking.

Please elaborate.

[EDIT] Just saw your post about your dirtbike.

TNT raceshop in blaine sells simpson racing helmets. Was just in there today to fill up a ZEX bottle. Don't know how much they cost, but I know they have them.
