If I do have to go to Korea, I'd actually rather stay on my old pay. It may be less, but it's hourly while the new position is salary. As an hourly employee, everything over 40hr/week is time and a half, all Saturday work is time and half, and all Sunday work is double time. As a salary employee, you will still get paid for overtime, but you won't get time and half or double time, you'll always just get paid your base hourly wage.

I did the math based on an 84 hour work week, and I'd actually make $68 more per week on my hourly rate then with the new salary rate.
