I do know that if you slightly flatten a round tube (make it an oval), the flow capability goes down.
Kind of reminds me of the 2G Upper IC pipe, where they flatten it out under the airbox.

Ever get a look at the turbo Saturn Sky's? I just remembered looking at one recently and being appalled at the intercooler piping. Where it goes over the front bracing the hard pipes squish down to about half thickness! I can't imagine the flow restriction. It's an argument against the "if it was any good manufacturers would be doing it" argument.

I have been experimenting with star shaped piping with mixed results. Seems to work good on pink cars, but not as well on white cars.

I totally missed this epic post by shane, you are freaking hilarious man!
Now is this 5 or 6 pointed star piping? Ever experiment with a mix between the two? And what about black cars?
Any brown star piping? Laying some of that would be niice!

Would that be the chocolate covered starfish piping you're referring to? It seems to work very well as exhaust piping, but some people get kinda mad when you use it for intake piping.
