Jeebuz! I didn't see this bumped, sorry ;)
Let's see, since the update I had VW change the DSG tranny fluid since it was the dead of winter and -20 out and the drain plug is the same as the fill plug (imagine that ;) )...while the car was in there they went ahead and reflashed the ecu 'for a recall'....as you can imagine anna was less than impressed due to the lack of boost/tune anymore :(
The local EPL dealer promises to have direct port working in the next few weeks so we'll be getting some updated software along with that.
The car did put down numbers at the dyno day last fall, unfortunately MAP couldn't figure out how to hook up the tach signal so no torque numbers were mapped:

Anyways, the car ran a little inconsistent on the dyno and had been on the street, I hope the new software fixes that, it was ever so slightly annoying, the BOV mods and downpipe made the thing want to run a lot more boost than the ecu did, so it would dial it back constantly. I'm hoping for 200whp on DB's dyno (dyno day hopefully?) and eager to see torque numbers....with these mods the car is FUN to drive and feels very torquey, supposedly 250wtq on a mustang dyno.
With a few mods, this car is fun.

Yup I was quite impressed. The vband clamp left a lot to be desired, but once it was all on there, it was fine. I haven't touched it since and no exhaust leaks or anything.
With all the mods and no chip the car is still fairly fun to drive, just not as torquey. Def worth the money.
jhaan_dude, if your buddy is shopping, there is another intake on the market that I'd get over the neuspeed one now. It has a recirc port built in so you can do the BOV mods I did w/o hacking stuff up too bad.

It's a little more than the neuspeed (shop around) but with add the OEM DV block-off, an off-the shelf DSM or evo BOV, and a 90' silicone coupler and you have your bullet-proof BOV mod and the car holds boost soooo much better. That kit is nice because it has some shields to block hot air coming from the rest of the engine bay.
Here's the OEM DV block-off:
