bump. i think its a shift linkage problem not a syncro problem since I am able to drive it now if I gear brake in 3rd than drop it in 1st with the clutch in before the car fully stops. only pops out if you shift to 1st from neutral on a dead stop

I had that same prob. in my eclipse and it ended up being 1, 2, 3, 5 were all bad and they all seemed fine to me but when they took it apart it was all bad!

Bump. Fixed wiper. It was a switch problem. Im thinking about keeping the car now if not sold by the weekend.
