Why do dyno day threads erupt like the week or two after the event with drama?

So why dont the people who are bickering go "test and compare?"
sounds like it would pretty much end the shenadigens.

Holy sandy vaginas. What is with all these newbs actin like they own the place?

Hey newbie what did you spend $5000 on? All I saw was a less than $1000 turbo setup and e85. Please fill me in.

And yes, you can't go around wavin your dick around to the awd guys imo. Why didn't you dyno awd anyways?

I have a 1g and have a lot more the 5k into it. From the newb comments, I would guess he doesn't approve. Maybe a friendly run would show where the money went. :P

And to be honest, nobody with real HP even dyno'd that day. It's funny when a bunch of new guys believe their shit doesn't stink. Stick around a while and take a look around at what others here have, then talk shit.

Because most people can't back their shit up :D If you think you're faster than someone then go meet up and prove it, but don't sit here and bicker about it when the weather is perfect for some testing and comparing.

Didn't knock, but yeah you couldn't even touch the piping from the turbo to the TB. No knock is no knock and nothing ever happened to my engine. E85 is awesome.

I know that the actual number shown doesn't correlate to anything, but from what I've seen if the number doesn't go up more when going higher on timing, leaner AFR, more boost, or higher outside temperatures -- you should be good knock wise. Especially since OBD2 logging sucks so much.

The stock ECU will normally retard timing from extremely faint knock before add-on knock devices can even pick anything up, 4G63's do not knock all that loud compared to some other motors. You can log knock on 2Gs nowdays. E85 can be so knock resistant though that you can reach a point where you don't gain power from leaner or more timing, yet it might not be knocking.
