^^Agreed!

on a different note, my insurance, as i assumed would do this again, shat on my chest. In order to get the wing/ trunk/ wiper fixed, $500 deductable, Drivers side key mark, another $500, passanger side key mark, yep- another $500. so basically i have a $1500 deductable!? what the shit. well i hope i can explain this shenadigens to the shop i choose to go to, and hopefully they'll put enough funds in the estimate to cover the key marks to.

I wish i had an insurance agent that wasn't the devil's advocate. :signs066:

That's fucking bullshit.

It should be $500 deductable fixes everything! Did you have the keying marks on the police report?

My insurance company only covers what I have listed in the police report. However when I hit some black ice and slid into a curb on an off-ramp over the winter...the actual cost to fix my car was almost 3x the original estimate. No questions asked though cause the shop working on my car was a "Preferred Shop" by my Insurance.

311, did you tell your insurance everything (wing, wiper, scratches, key'ings, etc.) all happened at the same time? If so, then it should only be a $500 deduc, if you told them they were separate incidents then $1500 deduc is correct.

I do not belive the police man put them on the reports, they were from before, but we never talked to insurence about it before.

We did tell them they happened at the same time, but they said some bull shit like it wasn't in the police report, therefore $1500 for all of it. fuhk that, do you think a shop would understand my situation and hopefully put enough in the estimates to get the key marks fixed?

Not to be a brick but each incident not related to the this one could warrant different deductable. I can see why insurance is making it difficult. GL.

right, but the agent doesn't know they are different incidences. We told them we didnt realize they were there in the parking garage because the car was dirty, and it was dark, but when i washed it i noticed them. they wouldn't even consider what i was saying, and the passanger side and drivers side i think happened at the same time anyway
