looks good man.
Nice looking car. Finding out what is all done to it is obviously your first step, you should have plenty of help from all of the people here.
Have fun with that rear wheel bearing though. They can be a real pain in the ass on an AWD car that has been in MN for most of its life. Be very careful not to ruin the axle. Almost impossible to find a replacement unless you have deep pockets.

i was quoted 290 today at the shop if i do ruin the axle. unfortunately this wheel bearing was left along for so long, im worried that the axle is ruined anyways. i will find out tomorrow once i take it off. this car only has ever seen one winter according to previous owner so hopefully it wont be too bad.

First I will have to say welcome..... Also, I had the same problem with the fuel cut and at about the same rpm in the same gear.. I was running a 16G on stock injectors. I then went to LSE and had some stuff put on like 680cc injectors, 255 walbro lph fuel pump, ect.. and all the issues ended at that...
I would double check and make sure your not running stock injectors and go from there, maybe get a safc2 that will better tune your car
For the idle, yes that is too low and I am currently having that same issue of idleing low but mine won't die. I would have to say try adjusting the screw a little and see if it sticks to about 800-900 rpm's
The wheel baring is a BITCH!! I had to replace the same one about a year ago and the hub was completely stuck on the axle and it took like 21,000 lbs. of pressure to get it free and yes it wrecked the axle and had to be replaced for $800 trust me it sucks and your gonna need help on it.
Good luck with everything and once again WELCOME!

well, you were right about the wheel bearing. we spent 4 hours on it and couldnt get the hub off. we tried to do it without a puller. gonna rent one and try it again tomorrow.
hooked up air to fuel gauge and boost gauge today.
i figured there was a leak somewhere in my system and i found it today, the aftermarket gauge was hooked up but fell off. leaving a 3 way splitter open on one end near the manifold. well its hooked up properly now.
being as i have driven it yet, i dont know if the mixtures are off or not, but when i idle it , the a/f gauge hung around lean until it got to operating temperature then the a/f ratio was optimal leaning towards lean.
i think part of my fuel cut problem was due to my boost leak in the hose due to the aftermarket gauge falling off.
once i put it all back together tomorrow im gonna drive it and see if the problems are better.
also previous owner stated to me he wasnt sure if the injectors were upgraded, but that it has a walbro fuel pump. doesnt make much sense to me upgrading the fuel pump but not upgrading the injectors.

Im really thinking that the way it sounds is that your prob. running stock injectors.. Im not sure if you have a safc or anything like that but if you dont have anything to tune your car with and your running lean then you dont have bigger injectors. If you did you would be running pretty rich without tunning.
Thats just what i think but i could be wrong..?

as soon as i confirm what injectors i do have, safc is the next step for me.

Safc is a good step but if your going to be modding your car your gonna wont to get either dsm link or aem ems sometime in the future. Im actually in the process of getting dsm link for my car.
Also, keep me posted about that wheel bearing I wanna know what you had to go through to complete it. Once agian GOOD LUCK!
