I just saw on another forum that Vivid Racing has their Evo X already. Just like when the current Evo came out, all the DSM shops jumped on it and started the work immediately. Do any of the big players have theirs yet? If so, post links to their videos or threads here. I'd like to see them, and I'm sure others would as well.

I think a few are keeping it secret. I can almost guarantee that AMS has one. They were supposed to be getting an early one before they were being sold yet.

A few private guys on EvoM have their personal X's. One guy said it felt similar to his VIII in how it drove and the interior quality was up to typical Mitsu-par.

Buschur said they weren't going to get one right away, but in all honesty, that has to be BS. It's such a huge market, I can't see everyone jumping on it.

No one has EcuFlash working for it yet though, so that's a big drawback for tuning for the time being.

Unlocked ECU for evo X might mean the 4G ecu will be unlocked as well... canbus is going to hold back the evo x until they break it open, but there has been nobody willing to do it for the 4g since the market is tiny.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but there is a bit of buzz about that on the 4g forums.

There is probably already an ECU chip being burned away. They burn it away layer by layer to read what was on it.

I read a bunch of threads on evolutionm yesterday. I think some dealers on the West coast have sold some EVO Xs. But It might be a few more days before they arrive in the Midwest and East Coast.

It is exciting to see Vivid Racing already getting there hands dirty with the X. The dyno numbers were just a slight bump over the IXs numbers. Which is right on from what Mitsu is claiming.

later,
Curt

SSN? Is that kind of the same idea as the SSL?
