Unlocked ECU for evo X might mean the 4G ecu will be unlocked as well... canbus is going to hold back the evo x until they break it open, but there has been nobody willing to do it for the 4g since the market is tiny.
It's going to be interesting to see the future of aftermarket support for these CAN cars. SAE J1939 only goes so far in terms of being able to "play" on the CAN system.

another price tag was spotted... heres the quote from my galant forum. 41K? OUCH.
It was the GSR Model.
$32,990 Base
$36,054 +Options
$41,053 +Dealer Markup
It seemed very well constructed. The interior was nice, but still on the cheapo plasticy side. The Recaro seats were very very nice. Was interesting that the battery now resides in the trunk, along with the washer fluid reservoir, and what looked like a brake fluid reservoir.
Dealer said they had already sold one.

Thats cool the battery is now in the trunk, the washer fluid has always been back there, and possibly thats an S-AYC reservoir?
Luther Mitsu in BP will have them in next week!

Just got back from Norco Mitsubishi, They have 30... yes 30 of them. They are sooooo fucking nice.
They even have a looks package that comes with a little more aggressive body kit (not ricey at all), it looks fucking awesome. The sales man is even willing to go only $100 over invoice on it. Which would put it at around $33k. He also said that HK$ has already cracked the ecu.

Nice, with the midwest and east coast soon to be gettting their cars, it should be interesting to see the vids and posts about these pop up.
I really want to start learning/hearing about the new engine and it's weaknesses and strengths. I'm assuming Mitsu understands what they needed to do with this engine.

The salesman knew that HKS had cracked the ECU?
